Dove Hunting in Uruguay
High volume, no limits, anytime of year - this describes the dove hunting in Uruguay. And as part of the Uruguay Cast and Blast (a Los Gauchos Outfitters exclusive), your Uruguay hunting trip becomes the highlight of your bird hunting memories.
It is up to you to decide how you want to take your Uruguay Cast and Blast. The dove hunting takes place at the Los Gauchos five star lodge located in Mercedes. Here the dove hunting fields are just minutes from the lodge and again, the doves fly all day.
Or you can choose to save the Uruguay hunting for the last part of your trip. The dorado fishing takes place in Salto and for those wanting to fish La Zona, you will need to plan your Uruguay fishing Friday - Saturday - Sunday - Monday. These are the only days that La Zona is open for fishing. But do not worry - only those with access and the correct licenses are allowed to even enter La Zona.
Los Gauchos Outfitters is the only outfitter with this authorization.
The dove hunting is typically a 2 to 3 day Uruguay bird hunt. The volume is high so we do not recommend anymore than 3 days.
